With under two minutes to go and trailing 34-31 to Texas Tech in the Birmingham Bowl, there was one last chance for USF. And arguably the best player in program history, QB Quinton Flowers, was going to make sure that authored one more dramatic exciting way for Bulls fans to remember him.

The senior, who was the American Conference Offensive Player of the Year winner last year and who’s broken almost every significant USF QB record the last two years, engineered a quick seven play 75 yard drive for the win. And when he hit WR Tyree McCants with a 26 yard strike in the corner of the end zone, USF capped another 10 win season with a 38-34 win.

Flowers, who now owns 34 USF or American conference offensive records, finished with 417 yards from scrimmage and 5 total TDs.

Our Olivia Stacey has more on his spectacular play and the Bulls going out a winner, again, in 2017.
