Charlie Strong and the South Florida Bulls football program are dealing with a major situation with one of it’s football players this week. LaDarrius Jackson has been arrested in connection with him allegedly sexually assaulting another USF student.
The Tampa Bay Times has more:
According to an arrest report filed by USF police, Jackson forced a woman to perform sex Monday afternoon despite her verbal and physical efforts to resist him. He forced her into her room after she placed her hands on a wall in an attempt to stop him, pushed her onto the bed and straddled her, the report says.
The victim told investigators she did not leave the room because she feared Jackson — who is 6 feet 4 and 243 pounds — would try to stop her, the report says.

Jackson is being charged with sexual assault/sexual battery on an adult and False imprisonment/kidnapping of an adult.
After the arrest head coach Charlie Strong has said that Jackson has been moved from all duties connected with the football program. Strong’s comments on the arrest are pretty much what everyone says and that’s allow the legal process to take shape before commenting any further.
Obviously these are pretty serious allegations and if the charges stick, the likelihood Jackson remains with the program will certainly dim.
