Optimism is high for the USF Green and Gold, and to no one’s surprise at the American Athletic Conference Media Days in Rhode Island Tuesday, they were the overwhelming pick to win the conference championship.
The Bulls have one of the premier dual threat QB’s in the nation coming back in Quinton Flowers and first year coach Charlie Strong brings proven pedigree from his SEC assistant days and at Louisville, as a defensive mind.
Still, the media assembled in Newport had to choose teams to win the two divisions and eventually the championship game and they made it official:

While the Bulls were unanimous to win east, there were a few stray voters who picked Memphis, Houston or Navy to win the championship game in December. It should also be noted that USF was picked to win the Eastern Division a year ago, too.
Temple ended winning the division and the Championship in 2016.
