It’s been a few days and Florida State Head Coach Jimbo Fisher wants his team to get locked in on their next opponent, USF. However, after allowing 63 points Saturday in a blowout at Louisville, which was the most in Seminoles history, he isn’t backing away from what he says is the key question: Why?
Not just how FSU was destroyed defensively (Lamar Jackson was a big part of it), but what else from a mental, emotional and lack of adjustment stand point led to such an embarrassing afternoon.
Fisher made this point on his weekly radio show Wednesday night with legendary “Voice of the Seminoles” Gene Deckerhoff:
"You have to see why did it happen…"

There is no doubt that FSU has talent, but they are about to face another mobile talented QB in USF’s Quinton Flowers. And, the Bulls will be sky high emotionally (just like the Cards were at home) to put a dagger in the Noles season and vault themselves into the top 25.
Did Florida State figure out the “why” this week? We’re about to find out.
