The Florida State Seminoles will take on ULM in a make-up game from Hurricane Irma at the beginning of the season and now, is the first game post-Jimbo Fisher.  The whole nation will be looking to see how the Noles come out to extend the bowl streak.

With everything happening around the fans and Jimbo including people being taken out of press conferences. It will be interesting to see the turn out the Noles get for this rescheduled game. With talk about “loyalty to the program” let’s see if the fans come out to support the team and remaining staff. Former Noles long defensive lineman and long time assistant Odell Hagins is the interim coach trying to keep things together.

With so much going on around the program, it will be interesting to see how the team comes out. Will the players be able to put the noise behind them and play a complete game? How will the seniors and captains be able to keep the team together along with the rest of the staff?

The reason for this game being played at all is winning seasons and bowl eligibility. It’s not about Jimbo, now. It’s about the players and coaches left for two games and to keep the winning tradition and streaks alive for the University.

The Noles have quietly rolled to two victories in a row and have been playing good football during the stretch something not talked about. Granted the competition wasn’t the highest in Delaware State but a rivalry win over the Gators last week is always great.
