The wait is over for Florida State running back Dalvin Cook. The Minnesota Vikings ended his surprisingly-long wait when they selected the Seminoles all-time leading rusher with the 41st pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

Cook ran for more than 4,000 yards at FSU and has a chance now to be the replacement for Adrian Peterson, though he’ll have to beat out Latavius Murray to do that.

With the addition of cook the Vikings will be looking to kick start what was the last-ranked run offense in the league last season.

Jamil King is a young draft pick working his way up the depth chart on the F.F.I. roster, who enjoys watching and writing about all of Florida’s football teams.
