The Miami Dolphins on Sunday won a wild one at home against the San Francisco 49ers 31-24 to win their sixth straight game. After going down 7-0 on a Carlos Hyde TD run in the first quarter. The Dolphins would go on to score 14 points unanswered in second quarter to take a 14-7 half time lead.
In the third quarter the 49ers kept it close, after a Garrett Celek TD pass to be down 17-14. Then Ryan Tannehill connected with Kenny Stills for a 43 yard TD to go up 24-14 heading into the final frame.
In the 4th quarter, Leonte Carroo caught a 15 yard TD from Tannehill to move up 31-14. It looked like it could be a run away in the 4th quarter, but the 49ers showed some fight After a Torrey Smith TD catch from Colin Kaepernick and a field goal, it was all of a sudden a 31-24 game.
With the game on the line and with the ball the 49ers started to drive. They got into the red zone as the clock was winding down. On the Final play Kaepernick attempted a run and got basically ripped in half at the 2 yard line by Ndomukung Suh. The Dolphins escape with a win and their sixth straight victory and are right in the middle of the AFC playoff race. They move to 7-4 on the season.
