Rapid Recap: Jaguars Play Tough But Come Up With Not Enough Vs. Vikings

The Jacksonville Jaguars didn’t look like they were mailing it in against the Minnesota Vikings, but were unable to make it a complete game falling once again at home 25-16.

If you bought a ticket to this game , the first half was a total rip off. Neither team was able to make it into the end zone as it was a battle of field goals as the teams went into the locker room tied 9-9.

The second half brought a heck of a lot more excitement. After the Vikings went ahead 12-9, Blake Bortles drove the Jags down the field for 90 yards as he connected with Bryan Walters for a 14 yd TD catch. The Jags take the lead 16-12 going into the 4th quarter.

The 4th quarter was all Minnesota. Matt Asiata punched it in from 3 yards to have the Vikings up 18-16. Then Sam Bradford connected with Kyle Rudolph on a short pass for a TD to go up 25-16, which would be the final score. The Jags with the loss move to 2-11 as the Vikings are now 7-6. It’s the 8th straight loss for the Jags.
