The Jacksonville Jaguars continue their downward spiral falling at home to the Houston Texans 24-21.
The game started off real rough for Jaguars QB Blake Bortles, who’s pass was intercepted by Kareem Jackson taking it back for six from 42 yards. That play pretty much set the tone for the entire contest. Unlike last week, the Jaguars running game was stagnant. TJ Yeldon and Chris Ivory only rushed for a combined 63 yards. Bortles who struggled early, picked up the pace in the 4th quarter hitting Allen Robinson for a late TD to make the game 24-21.
The Houston Texans won this game with their QB Brock Osweiler throwing for only 99 yards. You read that correctly. Despite the pedestrian performance, the Texans move to 6-3 and take on the Oakland Raiders next. The Jags move to a putrid 2-7 and have to take on the Detroit Lions next.
