Rapid Recap: Jacksonville Jaguars Continue to Slump

Sunday was just another day for the Jacksonville Jaguars as they lost their sixth straight, this time at the hands of the Buffalo Bills 28-21. The Jags just seem to not have enough to string along wins this season in the NFL. The Jags took a 7-0 lead over the Bills after a Chris Ivory 2 yard scamper.

In the second quarter, the Bills scored off a LeSean McCoy 7 yd TD run, but they missed the extra point and the Jags held a 7-6 half time lead. In the third quarter McCoy had a huge 75 yard TD run. The Jaguars would take a 14-13 lead when Blake Bortles connected with Marqise Lee for a 15 yd TD catch. That wouldn’t be the last time the Jags held the lead. Bills QB Tyrod Taylor would run in for a 7 yd TD Run as the Bills took a 201-14 going into the final frame.

In the 4th quarter Borltes connected with Allen Hurns and now the Jags were up 21-20. The Bills turned around and scored another TD when Taylor hit Justin Hunter for 15 yards to go up 28-21, which would be the final score.

The Jags actually had a great game on the ground gaining 183 yards. Bortles played pretty well tossing two TD passes and no INTs.

The problem was the defense. McCoy’s big game with two TDs turned out to be too much, and Taylor made the plays when he needed to.

The loss moves the Jaguars to 2-9, as the Bills are now 6-5.
