Yesterday Miami Hurricane QB Brad Kaaya decided to forgo his senior year and declare for the NFL Draft. On Tuesday another Miami player is going to jump to the draft. Junior RB Joe Yearby will be looking to play some football on Sundays next season.

Yearby who lost quite a bit of playing time this season to Mark Walton is an athletic, fast and versatile running back who can catch the ball out of the back field as well. He rushed for 608 yards and 7TDs this season, but his production and playing time dropped towards the end of the season.

Yearby is the third player from Miami top declare for the NFL Draft. TE David Njoku made his announcement right after the Russell Athletic Bowl victory against West Virginia.

Born in the Nation’s Capital, Washington D.C., Ari Russell watched the rise of the 1980’s Miami Hurricanes and knew that he had to be part of the “U” someday.
