Former Miami Hurricane QB Kevin Olsen Accused of Sexual Assault

Former Miami Hurricanes QB Kevin Olsen has been arrested in Charlotte, NC accused of rape. Olsen, the younger brother of Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen, also a Miami alum was charged with felony second degree forcible rape, cyberstalking assault on a female in the second degree and second degree forced sex.

These are very serious charges for the often troubled younger Olsen. In 2013 Olsen came to Miami as one of the nation’s top QB out of Wayne, NJ. By September 2014, he was kicked off the team following multiple violations of team rules. He would transfer to Towson, and would be kicked off that team before even seeing any game action.

In 2015 he played at Riverside City College in California before transferring to UNC Charlotte in 2016, where he threw for 846 yds and 6 TDs. Olsen has been suspended from the team.
