Former Dolphin Quentin Moses Dies in House Fire

Former Miami Dolphins LB/DE Quentin Moses died early Sunday morning in a house fire that also left another woman and her child dead.

The fire occurred in Monroe, Ga and Moses was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other two victims of the blaze were Andria Godard, 31 and her 10 year old daughter Jasmine were pronounced dead at the scene.

Moses who played for the Dolphins from 2007-10 played all of his 44 NFL games for Miami, recording 3.5 total sacks in his career.

Originally drafted by Oakland in 2007 in the third round out of the University of Georiga, Moses was cut by former raider head coach and current FAU head coach Lane Kiffin in the last pre season game. He bounced around practice squads before being scooped up by Miami.
