The Dolphins have had a tremendous turnaround winning nine of their last ten games to qualify as an AFC Wildcard playoff team. And now comes the question: can QB Ryan Tannehill actually play in two weekends?
Obviously, Matt Moore has been solid and at times really good in the Dolphin two road wins at the Jets and the Bills. And now, this Sunday’s game with the Patriots has no real bearing on either team’s playoff situation. So, that gives coach Adam Gase and the Miami brain trust time to mull over what to do in two weeks.
Clearly, they intend to give Tannehill a legitimate shot to play and have now listed him as “day to day” this week.

So, as Dr. Parekh lays out, look for Tannehill to try to practice next week prior to the Wildcard Game. Now, whether the Dolphins would actually play him instead of Moore is a whole other question leading into that game.
