It’s been a gutsy season for UCF, but Saturday night they ran into a Tulsa Golden Hurricane club that simply had too much fire power for them in a 35-20 win.

Tulsa’s one two punch in the backfield of DeAngelo Brewer and James Flanders each ran for over 150 yards and combined for three TD’s as the Hurricane pulled away with 21 unanswered points in the third quarter.

Add Veteran QB Dane Evans throwing two more TD’s in the air and it was simply too much for UCF to overcome. Freshman QB McKenzie Milton was 25-51 for just 233 yards but he didn’t register a TD.

UCF drops to 6-5 and will finish the season next week across I-4 at USF, while Tulsa improved to 8-3 on the season with the road win.
