On January 1, UCF will make an appearance in a “New Year’s Six” Bowl looking to make history. The No. 12 Knights (12-0) will face the No. 7 Auburn Tigers (10-3) in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta, going for their first ever perfect season.
In this video, UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton discusses his mindset heading into the Peach Bowl, how Coach Frost has prepared the team in the midst of juggling coaching responsibilities, and his thoughts on Auburn’s defense.
Milton has showed off his dual-threat capabilities this season with over 3,700 yards through the air and just under 500 (497) on the ground and 42 combined touchdowns. He was also named the American Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
UCF enters the Peach Bowl as the nation’s top scoring team at 49.4 points per game, while Auburn is ranked ninth defensively at 17.3 points.
Something’s got to give.
