A week after scape-goating and firing offensive coordinator Greg Olson for their offensive troubles, the Jaguars were still mistake prone in Kansas City in suffering their 6th loss in 8 games.
The Jags had four turnovers and none more costly than RB Chris Ivory’s fumble at the KC goal line with 8:00 remaining. Blake Bortles finished with 252 yards and 2 TD’s but again 2 INT’s.
Meantime, Chiefs backup QB Nick Foles got the start in place of Alex Smith, who is still out with a concussion, and Foles finished with 187 yards and this first half TD:

Albert Wilson hauled in the TD, as Kansas City eventually built a 19-7 lead when K Carlos Santos kicked his fourth field goal in the fourth quarter. Bortles got the Jags in the endzone with a TD pass to RB T.J. Yeldon for 13 yards with 4 mintues left to close to within five, but the Chiefs stopped their final chance to win the game on downs.
Ivory did have the Jaguars first 100 yard game of the year with 107 rushing yards, but Jacksonville drops to 2-6 and still searching for bigger answers.
