The Jacksonville Jaguars were never able to get into any sort of rhythm against a solid Oakland Raiders squad falling 33-16. Once again, the Jags were unable to get a solid running game going with only 72 yards from their backs.
Blake Bortles threw two INTs, which ended up being extremely costly. Looking at the other side, Raiders QB Derek Carr had yet another good performance with 200 yards passing and a TD and no INT, at least enough to get the win for Oakland.
Latavius Murray came back from injury hitting pay dirt twice for the Raiders on 59 yards rushing in the win.
So for the head to match up of QBs drafted in the 2014 draft, it’s Derek Carr who gets the edge. The Jags will need to pick themselves up real quick. They take on the Tennessee Titans on Thursday. The Jags fall to 2-4.
