Jags QB Blake Bortles didn’t play very well for a lot Sunday’s game in “the Windy City,” but when it mattered, he got the ball in lesser known WR Arrelious Benn’s hands and he did the rest for a 17-16 win over the Bears.

Benn’s 51 yard catch and run for the TD and the subsequent extra point gave Jacksonville their first and only lead of the day. Then the Jaguar D did the rest stopping QB Brian Hoyer and the Bears on downs to take over and run the clock out for the one point win.
Bortles finished 271 yards and the game winning TD. Hoyer for his part threw for 302 yards (his fourth straight 300 yard game), but the Bears settled for Connor Barth field goals after getting into the Red Zone twice in the 2nd half.
That would be crucial, as they were only up 16-10 with under three minutes left, when the Bortles to Benn connection happened to eventually give the Jags the final margin.
After the 0-4 start, the Jags won in London two weeks ago and now, after a week off, get a win in Chicago. Next objective? Win one in J’ville!
