The Bucs and the Dolphins have faced each other 31 times previously in August. Tampa Bay and new head coach Bruce Arians will actually open at the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is the first preseason meeting with the Black and Gold since 1998.

In week 3 the Buccaneers will again face the Cleveland Browns in a preseason battle, They have played 10 previous times, including as recently as two years ago. Tampa Bay will close out the preseason and weekend #4 at the Dallas Cowboys. Tampa Bay played its second to last regular-season game of 2018 in Dallas, as well.

For the Dolphins, they and new boss, Brian Flores, he will debut as they host the Falcons in weekend number one of the preseason at Hard Rock Stadium. It is the 17th time that those two have met in August. After playing the Buccaneers the follow week, Miami will be back home for the Jaguars at Hard Rock Stadium in a game that will be nationally televised on FOX TV.

And finally, the Jaguars full preseason schedule opens with a week 1 game at Baltimore.
