The latest edition of the “NFL Top 100” for 2017 rankings reveal came out on Monday night and as expected, with the numbers getting smaller, two more Jaguars were on the latest list.
All Pros, defensive back Jalen Ramsey (#17) and Calais Campbell (#14) became the fifth and sixth Jaguars to receive the honor from their peers. Obviously, the season in North Florida that included an AFC South title, two playoff wins, and a near miss in Foxboro, MA, of making it to the Superbowl helped their ranks.

They join defensive lineman Yannick Ngakoue, linebacker Telvin Smith, running back Leonard Fournette and defensive back AJ Bouye, who had already been named to the Top 100.
It’s yet another recognition for Ramsey and Campbell’s 2017 seasons that saw them both be named All-Pro selection. And Monday night they join the likes of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Saints running back Alvin Kamara, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in the countdown between #20 and number #11.
Ramsey, who just finished his second season after being drafted in the first round out of FSU, is widely regarded as one of the top two or three cover cornerbacks in the NFL. Meanwhile, Campbell was arguably the top free agent acquisition in the entire league a year ago. His veteran presence solidified a defensive line with Ngakoue, Malik Jackson, and Marcel Dareus, etc.
The six Jaguars on the list currently lead all teams in the NFL teams with members in the exclusive club.
