The Jacksonville Jaguars busy off-season forges on, as they continue to make moves.

No they didn’t franchise tag Allen Robinson, foolishly give Blake Bortles a long term deal or anything roster related, but they are making more waves inside the organization. And, also outside with new sponsors and names.

The home of the Jacksonville Jaguars will have a new name for the 2018 season. The franchise confirmed Friday that “TIAA Bank Field” will be the official name of its home stadium, replacing EverBank Field.

The name change is pending approval by the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville.

In a statement, Jaguars President Mark Lamping said, “We’re excited for our relationship with EverBank to not only continue, but grow under the new name of TIAA Bank. They have been a fantastic corporate partner for many years, sharing our mutual commitment to the betterment of the First Coast community. We’re grateful for their long-term commitment to the Jaguars and to the city of Jacksonville.”

The name EverBank Field debuted in 2010, replacing Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
Last year, Jacksonville-based EverBank Financial Corp. was acquired for $2.5 billion by TIAA, a financial services provider headquartered in New York.

Everbank had done a 10 year $43 million naming rights deal for the stadium with the Jaguars and the city in 2014. That deal will continue, just with the different name.

This change also goes with many of the others the Jags have made this off-season.
We wrote earlier about how the Jags are removing tarps, rasing ticket prices, and getting new uniforms.

With a new stadium name, a new look, and added seats the Jags are making plenty of moves ,as their team looks to rise the NFL ranks.
