Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars camp featured Tuesday afternoon on NFL Network

It comes with having won the amount of games that the Jaguars won a year ago. And, as we have well documented, the AFC South title, the playoff wins and coming so close to being in the Superbowl has many buzzing about 2018.
And that included the NFL Network paying a visit live to North Florida to cover the Jags.
As part of their marathon “Training Camp Live,” shows that have been airing daily for the last two weeks, the Network broadcasted for over three hours Tuesday afternoon from Jaguars camp.
Anchor Dan Hellie, analyst Brian Baldinger and former Jaguars great RB Maurice Jones-Drew were on hand to take in the workout as Jacksonville prepares to open the preseason at home with the Saints on Thursday night.
Not surprisingly, they sat QB Blake Bortles down to talk expectations, putting last season behind to start fresh, and the new young receiving corp for him to throw too, etc.
Here’s more from that conversation:

Bortles is obviously being heavily counted on to lead the offense in what is a critical year for his future. It is quite the interesting turnaround from 2017’s training camp, when most believed as his shaky play was continuing that he would gone from Jacksonville at season’s end.
Meanwhile, Jones-Drew, who is still one of the best personalities and most popular Jaguars of the last 15+ years, spoke with RB Leonard Fournette one on one.

As we have written already, “Mo-Jo” wanted to know more about Fournette dropping at least 10lbs. in an effort to be even quicker and more explosive. An interesting topic was the second year power back deciding to go ahead and reward his offensive lineman and other blockers with Louis Vitton handbags, as reward/incentive to do the same for him this season.
So, the Jags got some serious national love on Tuesday.
Love that based on 2017 is absolutely warranted.
Now, the business of trying to accomplish those same things and more in 2018 is about to get underway on the field beginning with the Saints on Thursday night.
