Here’s what to watch:

Jags defense take over?

With a five-game losing streak, the biggest asset for the Jaguars needs to show up on Sunday. Their defense has got to come to play against the Bills. Jacksonville had the Steelers on lockdown for the first three quarters last week. They ended up taking the ball away twice on interceptions of Ben Roethlisberger and helping themselves build a 16 -0 lead.

Unfortunately for the Jags, Roethlisberger rallied the Steelers including scoring with four seconds remaining on a quarterback scramble and a 20 – 16 win.

The Jaguars have to make plays and create turnovers against a Buffalo offense that has been poor for a lot of the season.

The return of Josh Allen

Part of the success the Jaguars defense against Buffalo rookie first round pick Josh Allen. Allen is back after a five-game absence due to an elbow injury suffered in early October.

He did lead the Bills to a couple of victories early in the season, and that included the week two shocker at Minnesota. But, he is also been mistake / turnover-prone prior to the injury, too

Can Allen stay away from the negative plays that have plagued the Bills for a lot of the season? If he does, Buffalo has got a great chance to get a win at home.

Get Fournette rolling

Clearly, the Jaguars are better with the former number 1 pick back in the lineup the last two games off his hamstring injury. Fournette ran tough for 95 yards on 28 carries against the Steelers and scored the only touchdown of the day helping the Jags build that 16 – 0 lead.

In the cold conditions in Western New York, it’s even more critical for the Jaguars to establish the running game. This will also help, as he needs it, with QB Blake Bortles being able to capitalize with play-action passes.

That means look for #27 early and often, Sunday afternoon.
