Here’s what to watch:

Change everywhere

The Jaguars go with a completely fresh approach in this rematch with the Colts. They have fired offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and replaced him with quarterback coach Scott Milanovich. Also, quarterback Blake Bortles has been benched in favor of backup Cody Kessler. And as if that wasn’t enough change, running back Leonard Fournette has been suspended by the NFL for starting a fight last week with Buffalo’s Shaq Lawson and being ejected from the game.

Will the change at offensive coordinator and quarterbacks spark the offense? Will be suspension of Fournette and his absence affect the Jaguars ability to run the ball and set up their play action pass game? There’s no doubt it’s going to be different for Jacksonville to question is will it be good?

Colts roll continues?

Speaking of straight games including beating the Jaguars 3 weeks ago in Indianapolis. Not only has Indu been able to protect quarterback Andrew Luck but they’ve also developed a run game themselves. Luck went four games without being sacked until the Dolphins got one last week, but he still rallied them from 10 points down to win on a last-second Adam Vinatieri field goal.

Have the Jaguars mailed it in?

We will know fairly quickly on Sunday at TIAA Bank field whether or not Jacksonville still wants to play hard for Coach Doug Marrone and for the remaining games of this season. Clearly having lost 7 straight Jacksonville is in a familiar position over the course of the last 10 years of being out of playoff contention and questions surrounding coaching and personnel.

Will the changes that we referenced above spark the offense? Will players like Calais Campbell, Telvin Smith and if he is able to play, Jalen Ramsey, spark the defense to do what they couldn’t do when this team lost to the Colts 3 weeks ago?

Time to find out if the Jags want to play with effort and passion.
