The Jaguars haven’t even officially reported for the start of training camp yet and already they’re hurting. Well, some of them are, and you can probably guess who.

Cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey (core muscle surgery) and Aaron Colvin (foot) have been placed on the team’s active Physically Unable to Perform list along with fullback Marquez Williams.

Ramsey and Colvin were placed on the PUP list on Saturday, according to the Florida Times Union, a day after they reported to the team facility, and two days after Williams was placed on PUP.

Players placed on the active PUP list can return to practice as soon as they are cleared by the medical staff, but there’s no way of knowing when any of these players might be cleared.

Ramsey only had his core muscle surgery in June after suffering the injury during an offseason workout and while he has been running it may be a while before he can get engaged in football drills.

The same may hold true for Colvin, who missed all of the team’s offseason workouts. Williams landed on the list with an undisclosed injury, so his status remains a bit of a mystery.

Williams was expected to battle veteran Tommy Bohanon for the starting fullback’s job, which is expected to take on more importance this year as the Jags attempt to transition to more of a power running team.

The loss of Ramsey in particular could prove to be quite a blow to the Jaguars. Jacksonville is looking for a bounce-back year after going 3-13 last season and Ramsey is considered a key figure in their secondary.
