There is no substitute for experience and especially, high level of success in your previous experience. That is a big reason why the Jaguars bringing in Kennan McCardell back to Jacksonville coach receivers for new head coach Doug Marrone.
We previously wrote about the reasons why McCardell is an interesting and credible fit to coach the likes of the two Allen’s, Robinson and Hurns, but more importantly, the youthful potential that the Jaguars have with Marquise Lee and draft pick Dede Westbrook.
We got a glimpse Wednesday into what the former Pro Bowler with the Jags and Super Bowl champ with the Bucs, brings to that corp, as Jaguars.com had him wearing a mic during OTA workouts.
WR coach @KeenanMcCardell was mic'd up for organized team activities this week.

In addition to helping with technique, you can hear what McCardell brings in that video from the personal professional level. And, since it all relates these days to former Jaguars head coach Tom Coughlin who’s now the front office boss, McCardell having played hard and successfully for him will translate to those receivers.
At the end of the day, Blake Bortles has all eyes on his improvement, but anyone who follows the NFL knows that he has to have quality pass catchers to assist him. And Jacksonville has definitely got talent that is ready to get after it. Now, can they put that together? It’s only June and a long way to go to find out.
