The Health of Dalvin Cook Will Be a Question at the NFL Combine

The NFL Draft process is to put a word that’s being used often these days, an “extreme vetting” of prospects. Scouts try to look at every nook and cranny from personal background, to conduct and obviously health. One projected first round pick will certainly be checked out for health reason. That one player is Florida State’s Dalvin Cook.

Cook is projected to be either the first or second RB taken, the other being LSU’s Leonard Fournette. Though he’s the all timer rusher in school history, he still has had a history of being injured. Scouts at the combine are going to examine this deeply, that’s for sure. They want to make sure that if they are drafting Cook, he’s going to stay healthy, knowing the grind on RBs in the league. Durability is certainly a key, and the medical angle may only be the one hindrance for Cook to be the top RB taken in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Our friends over on Seminole Sports Radio grief a quick synopsis of what Cook will expect regarding his medicals at the combine.
