Everyone’s favorite former Florida Gator Heisman winning QB seems to be doing alright in the New York Mets organization.
According to a report by Mike Puma in the New York Post the organization is considering promoting Tim Tebow to the next level of the minor leagues. He currently plays for Single-A Columbia (SC)
According to a club source, there has been discussion about moving the former Heisman Trophy winner to a higher level within the minors, but such a jump likely won’t occur until after the All-Star Game in midseason.
Tebow has been doing very well over the past 16 games with a .849 OPS. This season Tebow is batting .250 with a .330 OBP. He has two home runs and 11RBIs in 28 games for the Columbia Fireflys.
