Neither unexpected or unwarranted, Gators defensive back Jalen “Teez” Tabor has played his final game in Gainesville. Well, actually, it was the Outback Bowl Monday in Tampa, as Florida rolled Iowa 30-3.
Tabor made the news official himself Thursday morning on the Players Tribune website:

The Washington D.C. native, just concluded his junior season where he had four INTs including the 39 yard pick six above in the home win over Missouri in October. He was the lone Gator selected on the AP All SEC First Team.
Tabor is projected as a top 20 pick in the NFL Draft by most current “Mock Drafts.” If he does go in the first round, he would join the Buccaneers Vernon Hargreaves who was picked 11th overall by Tampa Bay last year and started his entire rookie season.
He is the fourth Gator defender to declare for the upcoming draft. Good luck to Jim McElwain and Co. restocking a defense that has carried his program his first two years.
