Even though the Noles are off this weekend, it appears they are winning. Injured stud safety Derwin James appears on the healing fast track and may be ready to play in FSU’s titanic home game next Saturday night with Clemson.
Speaking on his weekly radio show Wednesday night with legendary “Voice of the Seminoles” Gene Deckerhoff, Head Coach Jimbo Fisher went in depth on James’ progress rehabbing his surgically repaired knee.
"Derwin has a lot of that presence…"

“He is healing at rate that’s crazy,” Fisher told the radio audience and that should encourage all Seminoles for October 29th.
James has been out since injuring the knee in the second half of the second game of the season against Charleston Southern and it cannot be overstated how much he has been missed not only as a physical talent, but also a vocal leader for the Florida State defense.
