Unlike their rivals in Gainesville who didn’t want to bring big names to SEC Media Days, the Noles big names will step proudly into the spotlight on Thursday in Charlotte for ACC Media Days.
After sitting out almost all of last season due to injury, James will begin this season as one of Florida State’s leaders and one of the top defensive players in the ACC. Meanwhile, Francois will be taking questions for the first time as the “man” of the offense with Dalvin Cook now in the NFL.
The ACC Atlantic Division has been a gauntlet the past few seasons between Clemson and FSU and now, Louisville making their case to be a top dog.
It will be interesting to see if FSU is picked by the media in the preseason to take the crown. There will also be plenty of hype and questions in Charlotte surrounding the week one showdown versus Alabama. And, there will be even more questions about how the Fisher worked for Nick Saban at LSU for four years.
Other questions that Fisher may face will involve his running back position following the loss of Cook and which wide out and D-lineman he expects to step up to replace DeMarcus Walker and Travis Rudolph.
