As the report reads, Brantley is charged with knocking a female unconscious and also, knocking one of her teeth out with a punch in an argument around 2 a.m. on April 13th. A witness statement to Gainesville PD detailed that Brantley’s actions were not in self defense.
Brantley, who decided to forgo his senior season with the Gators, after a 31 tackle 2.5 sack season in 2016, is believed to be as high as, a second round prospect in the upcoming NFL Draft this week.
Obviously, this news on the heels of Oklahoma star running back Joe Mixon’s well documented domestic violence problems with his draft status. And, Brantley and his reps will have hard time answering this with just days before the draft.
