Former Miami Dolphin defensive end and recent Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee Jason Taylor is already trying to wield his elevated influence. He’s already started lobbying for his former teammate, Zach Thomas to be inducted into the HOF.

This is what Taylor had to say about his good friend and former teammate when he spoke to the Miami Herald and other reporters this week.

“To me, is he a Hall of Famer? Absolutely,” Taylor said. “Without Zach, there is no way in the world I’m standing here right now.”

More from Taylor:

“There are a lot people that, like I said, made me who I am. There are a handful of guys that I’ve played with that are elite status as far as players, people, competitors, teammates, and Zach Thomas is No. 1 on that list. He made everybody that played with him better. “

Pretty strong praise from Taylor to say the least.

We ask the fans out there, is Zach Thomas a hall of fame linebacker?
