This is perhaps not considered an obvious statement, but the Miami Dolphins are in a must win situation in week 2.
Sure it’s so early in the season, but the match up against the Patriots is so important, the Phins cannot afford to lose. Why? Well to have the Patriots on top of the AFC East at 2-0 would be disastrous.
The division was considered up in the air, once Tom Brady’s four game suspension was upheld. However as we saw in week 1, the Pats pulled off a huge upset over the Cardinals to be the only 1-0 team in the division. Imagine how demoralizing it will be for the Dolphins to be 0-2 with the Bradyless Pats 2-0.
Yes it’s going to be insurmountable, especially once Brady comes back. The Jets did what they had to do on Thursday by beating the Bills. Now it’s time for the Dolphins to step up and jam up the division. This is the game where Arian Foster and Ryan Tannehill will have to earn their paycheck.
Big game Dolphin fans! Now your team needs to get the job done.
