Well it looks like the Miami Dolphins are going to have to look elsewhere to fill their defensive tackle vacancy. After meeting with the Dolphins this week free agent DT Dontari Poe has decided to sign with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons will give Poe $8 million for a one year deal. The Dolphins offered him half the amount. Now the search shifts to other players. On Wednesday we went over a few other options the Dolphins will be targeting.

As it stand right now, the next best option would be Jonathan Hankins, but if the $4 million mark was too low for Poe, it will certainly be too low for Hankins. The only other options will have to come with a much cheaper price tag. Could another Chiefs DT Tyson Jackson now be an option? There’s no question he’s no on the list.
