Dolphins veterans report to camp-unveil enhanced new uniforms

It’s July and it’s hot most places and pro football training camps are about to commence. The Dolphins welcomed veterans in on Wednesday to begin workouts later this week.

And while QB Ryan Tannehill’s recovery from ACL surgery, the additions of veterans like WR Danny Amendola, RB Frank Gore and DE Robert Quinn, and the impact of Alabama rookie first round pick DB Minkah Fitzpatrick are all big topics, Miami has begun to roll out an enhanced “look” with their uniforms

As we wrote previously this off season, this is not a dramatic change. The color scheme is the same, but their is more prominent aqua piping (stripe) on the helmet and orange outline on the numbers, etc.

Take a look at WR Kenny Stills posing in the fully uni and helmet Wednesday morning:

Stills wasn’t the only one modeling the new “duds.” Fitzpatrick also took a turn, without a helmet, enjoying the new look:

The Fins will also use their “retro look” from their uniforms (like above) of the 1960’s and 70’s for a couple of games this season. They have yet to announce for which games they will pull the old school Griese, Czonka, Warfiled, etc. threads to do battle with this season.
