Hickey previously served in Miami, as the Dolphins GM from 2014-2015. He had also worked for Tampa Bay for 10 seasons, beginning as director of college scouting in 2004 and then, being elevated by then GM Mark Dominik to director of player personnel from 2009-2013.
Hickey will return to a scouting role for the Bills, as senior college scout under new GM Brandon Beane. The Bills continue to rebuild the front office due to the post draft shake up that led to former GM Doug Whaley being dismissed two weeks ago.
