It’s supposed to be the Holidays. You know, Christmas and stuff.

Well, don’t tell that to the Buffalo Bills, as they get ready to play Jarvis Landry and the Dolphins in a Christmas Eve rematch at Orchard Park. No, they aren’t into “The Spirit of the Season,” when it comes to what they believe was a cheap shot that ended safety Aaron Williams’ season.

The hit occurred on a “crack back block” in the October meeting, where Landry peeled back and hit the unsuspecting Williams who suffered a re-injury to his neck and was placed on IR after the game.

Here are some video replays from the CBS TV broadcast:

“We know it was a dirty hit… I’ve seen it. It was right in front of me,” Bills corner back Stephon Gilmore told said on Wednesday. When asked about retribution Saturday, he only cryptically replied, “We can’t go out there and play with emotion….We go out there and get the win, that takes care of everything.”

Fellow DB NIckell Robey-Coleman also spoke out Wednesday with, “At the end of the day, a true professional, you don’t do those type of things. We’ve got families, we’ve got kids. We’ve got a livelihood to take care of. The last thing we want to do is target somebody and take somebody else out.”

Even though he wasn’t flagged on the hit, Landry was given a $24,000 fine on the play.

Will the Bills take the opportunity to blast Landry or will they be content to lock he and the Fins passing game down and virtually end the Miami playoff hopes?

Remember, Buffalo, there is still a “Naughty or Nice” list on Saturday.
