As Dolphins OTAs continue, new players are getting adjusted to different things and for rookie first round pick, Charles Harris he is trying to soak it all in.
Harris spoke with the media after Tuesday’s workout and talked mostly about what he has learned and continues to try to learn from those around him.
Here’s what he had to say in full:

It’s fascinating that Harris says that a quick help is going against new left tackle Laremy Tunsil in the workouts. And that Tunsil was immediately giving him pointers on his moves and how to get around left tackles. That’s not something you hear all of the time, even from teammates who are going against each other in practice. However, these guys came from the powerhouse SEC (Tunsil from Ole Miss) and there is obviously a bond there, too.
Harris also talked about the rookies, including linebacker Raekwon McMillan, and being able to band together because of their similar situations in terms of having to get adjusted to everything about being a professional football player.
Probably, the most fascinating is what he said about learning from Cameron Wake. The “he’s an interesting dude, to say the least” comment definitely made everyone assembled perk up. When pressed for what he meant by that, Harris talked about their differences, including diet and not having dairy products, for example.
One thing Harris and the other young defensive lineman can learn on the field is Wake’s ability to get to the quarterback, which he has done to the tune of 81 1/2 sacks in his career.
Back to the dairy and enjoying a bowl of cereal. The former Mizzou pass rusher is also allegedly a big fan of “Lucky Charms,” and has no desire to give that up. If he improves on pass rushing, there’s no need to worry about that.
