What to watch:

Get off to a good start

The Dolphins played well for a lot of the game in Indianapolis last week, and need to replicate that start Sunday afternoon. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is still nursing the injured shoulder, but threw the ball at times ,pretty well last week. It’s a very banged up receiving corps with Danny Amendola and DeVante Parker being questionable for this game. Will Kenny Stills who seem to indicate that he’s unhappy with being open but not getting the ball, actually deliver with some big catches today?

The Fins run game is also in question with Kenyan Drake nursing an injured shoulder. Miami needs to do positive things on offense early to try to snap out of their funk.

Will Josh Allen make a difference?

Allen return from an elbow injury and played well last week in the win over Jacksonville at home. He not only had a 70-yard touchdown pass in the first half of the game but a key scrambling touchdown in the second half helped the Bill’s get the win over the Jaguars.

Now playing on the road at Hard Rock, will the Dolphins be able to rattle the rookie with pressure and possible sackss? Or, will he play solidly and mostly mistake-free football, and help the Bills get back-to-back wins?

Takeaways, takeaways, take aways

The Dolphins were able to get a couple of takeaways last week against the Colts and it will be one of the keys in this match up with Buffalo. The turnover battle always seems to favor the home team, and as we referenced above, Allen is a rookie who may give the ball up. Miami is second in the NFL with 17 interceptions. Let’s see if the Dolphins go ball-hawking to get a couple of big momentum-changing turnovers to help them snap their losing streak.
