In addition to his amazing play the first two weeks, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has the internet and NFL media everywhere abuzz with what he wore after the Buccaneers 27 – 21 win over the Eagles Sunday.

Donning what best can be described as “a Colin McGregor UFC Halloween costume starter set,” Fitzpatrick emerged from the Bucs locker room and then, into the interview room. And, he had the media assembled there laughing the entire time.

First, Fitzpatrick had to deadpan that the team “has to remain humble” after their surprising 2 – 0 start to the season.

And then he finally revealed, where he had obtained the outfit:

DeSean Jackson later confirmed that he had no idea what Fitzpatrick had planned, when he asked if he could borrow Jackson’s clothes.

Of course, it always helps when you go to ask for a favor, that threw a 75 yard bomb to to the speed receiver on the first play of the game. And, as we have detailed, it was part of another record breaking day for the 14 year veteran Fitzpatrick.

Make no mistake. Ryan Fitzpatrick is on a roll, and in two short weeks has done things that no one predicted could have happened in terms of passing success, and the Bucs winning two difficult games.

When asked late in the press conference, what of the ensemble he was wearing was his, Fitzpatrick quipped, “the chest hair.” Again, roaring laughter ensued, including from Jackson.

And, humor or not, one key point is: the 35 year old veteran is obviously going to keep things loose for the Buccaneers publicly and privately.

And loose is apparently a good thing, while “Fitzmagic” is rolling.
