Linebacker Lawrence Timmons is not expected to play for the Dolphins today after he went missing from the team on Saturday, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.
The details regarding Timmons absence are still a bit sketchy but word is he did not fall into legal trouble and the Dolphins now know of his whereabouts.

For reasons that still are not clear, Timmons left the team while it was preparing for today’s game against the Los Angeles Charger in Oxnard, California.
The Dolphins moved their base of operation there late last week after owner Stephen Ross paid for the evacuation of the entire team out of Miami in an effort to avoid Hurricane Irma.
There is no word yet on what Timmons absence means for him going forward. After 10 years with the Steelers, Timmons joined the Dolphins after signing a two-year, $12 million deal with them in March.
